ART IGNITES WITH SF FIRE DEPARTMENT

Envisioned by fine artist Thomasina DeMaio, co-curated by photographer Lt. Dwayne Newton (SFFD, ret.) and dance-theatre artist Jes DeVille - the Art Ignites exhibition series weaves intergenerational storytelling, grief work, community art making, and performing arts to honor San Francisco Fire Department in Spring 2023. Archived as a published book, it likens the "combustion triangle" (oxygen, heat, fuel) to the city of SF's historic cycles of collapse, repair, and regeneration.

SF CITY HALL’S 100TH BDAY CIRCUS CABARET

Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of San Francisco City Hall, Openhaus Athletics founder Jes DeVille collaborated with Joegh Bullock (Anon Events) to deliver an outdoor circus cabaret of epic proportions! Flanking legends such as Jello Biafra, a full sized ferris wheel and the projection mapping light show of Obscura Digital the free public production showcased a collection of contemporary Chinese Lion Dance, burlesque, acrobatic acts, roaming Barbary Coast characters, magic, and more - engaging over 25,000 patrons.
